What is Forest Therapy?
Forest Therapy, inspired by the Japanese practice of Shinrin-Yoku or forest bathing, involves immersing yourself in nature through all five senses. Unlike a hike or exercise, Forest Therapy focuses on nurturing your relationship with nature and yourself, fostering relaxation and rejuvenation. Each session is a sensory experience designed to reconnect you with the natural world and deepen your relationship with yourself.
Imagine strolling through a serene natural setting – whether it’s a forest, a meadow, or along the shoreline – your senses alive with the sounds, sights, textures, and scents of nature. Our slow-paced walks aren’t about hiking or exercise, but about being present and mindful, fully experiencing the life of the environment around you. Gwen guides you through a series of gentle, sensory-based invitations, allowing the forest to provide what you need. Each walk concludes with a tea ceremony and refreshments, fostering a sense of community and reflection as you share experiences and connect with fellow participants.
